I was emailed this picture. It was mentioned that the BOSS Mustang was his personal car.
His Boss Mustang is a 428CJ Mach 1. He changed a lot on it, filled the fake scoops on the quarters and added the Boss like strips. Note no BOSS 302 on them. I just read a story on it. It still exists and is going to be restored soon.
“Larry’s Boss” which john Grafelman owns was fully restored last year by Phil Schultz. Beautiful car now.
That is a very cool picture showing Larry Shinoda with the Cougar and Mustang. I really like period photos like this. The article link that Neal posted showing a photo with his children standing next to the Mustang is priceless. How about the invoice showing 4 gallons of gas costing $1.33…man those were the days.

Any inkling that that Eliminator prototype survived?

No, but I would like to be the one to find it.
All of his “babies” would include the Corvettes, XP-819 car, the MONZA-GT and even the FiberFab ET Mustang front ends
It goes without saying that he was an incredibly talented man - what a legacy!
Love your FiberFab ET Mustang Jeff

Very impressive photos. I really like the last two Mustangs. The mid-year Corvette style drawing with out the pop up headlights is neat.

The maroon and black fastback 'Stang with the FiberFab nose and hood belongs to Mr. Speegle. That photo is from a magazine article featuring that car.
