You get a FREE ELIMINATOR with every subscription. Subscriptions are just $99,000 LOL! Just kidding… I think it needs to be free or pretty close to it to readers.
The question is, how can we pay for this? We need to get $3k to $5K to put together an issue that would be in the 40 to 50 page range., and that will include a bunch of volunteer time.
Could this become the CCOA magazine and have part of the annual dues defray the cost? It could combine both names, as in “At The Sign of the Cat - Legendary Cougars”
I think that could work. We could do a custom version of the magazine (there would be a link for CCOA members that would take the reader to the CCOA version) The CCOA version could include a special CCOA Section not included in the general distribution magazine, however the general distribution version would have a CCOA ad in it. Just an idea any how…
Great idea, very cool! Either way CCOA tie in or not I think it would be a great addition to this site. Kudo’s to to everyone that is involved in making this happen.

My only reservation is that you might run out of content after a year or two, especially if it is published once a month. Once the basics are covered, the magazine risks descending into obscure details which are only relevant to die-hard Cougar fans and the magazine may have trouble attracting new readers.
It might be worth thinking about a quarterly magazine, which will also require less commitment in terms of both money and time (just my 2c worth, feel free to disregard).
Would be good to do it up kind of like the Mustang Monthly & Ford Mustang magazine to keep people interested. You could do something like resto tips an what to look for in buying a classic Cougar etc…
Tech articles are a given. Gotta have them. There are so many tech things, like rebuilding the front suspension, that are mostly common across all the cars.
I would also like to have a car from each generation (67&68, 69&70, 71-73) in each issue.
I think we need to cover resto mods (sorry folks, but no donks!) and clones and tribute cars, as well as original cars.
Rich also has a lot of good historical material that we can write about from back in the day.
Nice Job, whatever you decide for a subscription price I’m in!
As a side note to the featured 70 428SCJ Eliminator article and the “Dyno Tuned by Randy Ritchey” sticker on the air cleaner snorkel…Randy has deep albeit tragic Ford Racing roots. http://www.pahorsepower.com/page12/page12.html
Yes… I liked it with no flashing ads and easy to read. I think “us” as CCOA members should push for them to be partners with Bill and support this. I see no reason why some money from dues could not go to this great effort to bring the community together. The current CCOA news letter is great, but this format would step it up a notch and take some work load off the CCOA. I think people will pay just to view the on line magazine if the cost was around the ten dollar a year mark it would include all enthusiast and not just us die harts.
