Look at who's coming to town!

Yup, this summer http://www.fgmat.com/

In french, mind you… but we have had quite a few big names in the past. not too bad, for a real small place

Grand Funk - I’m Your Captain is one of my all time favorites.

I thought that everything in Canada had to be in both French and English? Maybe not for Quebec? Don’t get me wrong, I am just curious. I think that having Quebec just the way it is is very cool, It is different from every place else. What is the saying vive la difference?

it actually goes :“Vive la différence”

up here, Bill, you pretty much do whatever you want. Nobody from Montreal wants to drive 6 hours to police the area. and the 9 hours from the capital (where all the thieves are…) don’t help either.

Law 101 expressly demands that it be in french, and, if you want both languages, english needs to be in smaller fonts. I won’t even go into the amount of money being wasted in policing, and court costs of said law. Our children, fresh out of ANY level of education can’t write worth s***. You should see the CV’s from university graduates i simply dismissed because of the way they were written…

hahaha…

We have had, so far, great names that seem to like the small venue feeling of the place.

For bass players, we had Stanley Clarke a few years back.

Johnny Winter last year, Buddy Guy recently, and the list goes on…

Hmmm, maybe, one of these days… i actually will meet a fellow cougar enthousiast :fingerscrossed:

Salut!

In a comedy club in London one time and the comic asked if there was anyone from Canada there. A few folks raised their hands. The comic said “There is a sorry lot for you. They have the Yanks for neighbors and the French live among them!”

hahaha!

THe Doobie Brothers were just added for this summer!
