Looking for 67 or 68 Cougar with a 390

I’ll chime in. I own a similar car to the one above, although mostly cosmetically unrestored with original paint and original interior, except for headliner. The car mechanically front to back is all restored original or brand new. The car is a bit of a patina rat cat. I wouldn’t even consider an offer below $35k for it.

The price that came to mind when I saw the Glaicer blue cat was $50K USD. You certainly cannot build it for that price

Here’s another one. Not a big block, but it’s only 5 months old.

67 or 68 - nope

manual trans - nope

390 - nope

But it IS a pretty blue!

I can’t stop gawking at that beautiful 67 GT that 67xr7390gt has for sale across the pond. I’m not sure what the tariffs and shipping will look like, but you couldn’t do that nice of a restoration for what he is willing to sell it for.

So… Nope

I have been looking at shipping costs. Do you have a preferred shipper over there? Everything is pointing to about 4k door to door.

Any input?

Rob

Hi Rob,
It’s not something I have regularly done.
The only times I have used shipping agents was when I imported 2 vehicles many years ago for my own personal use.First was a classic 1963 split screen corvette in the late 80’s and the last time was 21 years ago,a brand new 2004 Dodge Ram Rumble bee.I was helped by the corvette owner and the Dodge dealership on those occasions.
If you find one that needs looking into in the UK I would try and help any way I can.
Regards
Paul

Do you still have this Cougar?

Yes I do Rob
