Looking for a factory radio for my 69

The car had an aftermarket stereo and carved up face plate when purchased. I didn’t want to spend a fortune, so I found a decent faceplate and installed a Retrosound unit. It sounds fine, has modern features, but every time I drive the car, I am acutely aware that it doesn’t look right. Mine came stock with an AM/8 Track unit, but an AM/FM would be more useable, and I would consider a simple AM radio as well.

I am not fond of eBay anymore so does someone know a good vendor that can be trusted? I am even considering a non-working unit and using a Bluetooth speaker if I end up on a long road trip.

Bluetooth speaker is ALOT easier!!!

I have several restored and un-restored 1969 AM FMs and one restored AM 8/Track. PM me your information and I’ll give you a call. Whenever I can pick up one reasonably I buy it and have it repaired by one of the best (and probably last) in the business.

Got any 68’s?

Sorry, just these and a 70

I have my original ‘68 AM factory radio. There are receipts from previous owner supplying a replacement board to an electronics repair shop. They charged him $220 to go through the radio repair it and replace the board, it was working when i bought the car and when removed it last year.

I won’t be using it anymore, so it’s in storage right now, i think i still have the knobs too but I need check to be certain. let me know if any interest as i also have a big box of random parts here off the car and was going to include this radio to sell it all to anyone here interested that sells parts or to WCCC. Thanks, M~
