Talk to me when you have Houses of the Holy on 7-1/2 IPS reel-to-reel tape
I have a small collection of great sounding RTR tapes, but usually don’t bother with the 3-3/4 speed ones as they don’t sound as good as vinyl in most cases.
Andrew, I don’t think a true Audiophile would have any interest in 8 track tapes. But for those that have vintage cars with vintage 8 track players they could be a minor gold mine. I had an Akai reel to reel tape deck back in the early 90’s, it came with a large collection of Symphony Orchestra tapes and some popular music. I traded it for Cougar parts…
I have maybe 200 33 1/3 LPs here. I do not plan to sell any at this time. I hope to get a turn table soon so I can enjoy them.
Funny how many and how many different genres this collection ended up with. I got them from 3 different places. The largest was out of a 1967 Mercury Commuter wagon that was loaded with options. I did the transport for some friends that bought it for the 410, I got some money, the AM 8 track and all the tapes that were in it.
