Low Fuel Light

I just got done reinstalling my 351w back into my 69 XR7. Everything electrical works fine accept the low fuel light will not turn off even with the key out. Tried disconnecting the reconnecting the battery but nothing works. Everything is a stock setup in my car. The gas tank is full!

Thanks
Jeff

If I remember right you should check the wires to your starter relay. You have a wire on the battery side, so it always has power and needs to be on the other teminal. That is if I remember correctly.

Thanks. Will give a try in the morning

It’s a red wire with a ring connector for the low fuel prove-out circuit. Should be on the starter side of the solenoid.

Thank you for all the responses. This had me baffled.

Just had help with same thing today. Oh the minds in this forum!
