Alright, I’ve got to ask. Service Manual says no grease or oil on caliper guide pins. Intuition and suggestion by others wants them lubed - I understand it would have to be rubber/neoprene safe, like silicon grease; but DO YOU? or DON’T YOU?
I dip each bolt in Vaseline before shoving it in the rubber boot.
Thanks for that; but I am a little surprised at the answer because Vasoline is petroleum jelly. You’ve certainly been in the game long enough to know whether that would be problematic.
