Do any of you xr7-g owners know of a source for Lucas lamp small bits and parts? I just need one of the retaining clips (springy wire thingy) that holds the bulb in the reflector.

Looks like these guys reproduce them but I don’t know anything about the company or the product.

Just looking at the pic they posted some of the mounting hardware appears different than the XR7-G/Shelby application.

You could reach out to them and see if they sell any parts separately.

The only other place I know of is ebay. These lights are much more plentiful in the UK and maybe you could score a later plastic bodied light or damaged lights to grab the spare parts.

You would think that there would plenty of those bulb retainers around.
I have a couple of extra Lucas fog light sets, but I don’t think I have any extra retainers as I was working to put a complete set together to install in my 68 XR-7 fun driver (it had a G front valance with the wrong lights when I bought the car last year).

Like the cheapskate that I am, I ended up making one out of a paperclip. It seems stiff enough as is, but if necessary, I’ll heat treat it next time I grill burgers. :

To follow up on the above, I’m putting a pair of Lucas lights on my project. Is anyone aware of, or know of an LED bulb that will fit?

Looks like 2005/2006 jeep liberty renegade driving light…bone yard

I have at least one, will check on the second tomorrow, spring clips to secure the bulb to the fog lamp reflector housing. I needed & ordered (what I thought) were two replacement front glass replacements. Delivery was two complete housings, bulbs included, to mount in the housings.
Back channel me if interested in my old pieces.
