Anyone else watching the Mecum Kissimmee used car auction? I guess they aren’t very selective with what they’ll accept for consignment.
I’ve been watching todays broadcast on The Esquire Network. I agree with you Al not all that great of a selection. One thing that caught my attention quickly was the type of cars crossing the block. A lot of Porsche’s and some Ferrari’s. I also noticed they changed the Mecum slogan from “Muscle Cars and More” to “Collector Cars and More”. One segment of the show went between commercials without showing a Corvette or a Camaro. That probably never happened on Velocity. I guess they are trying to capture a different audience. The camera and set lighting looks to be of a lesser quality than what was on Velocity. It also seems like they have tamed Bill Stephens a bit. He always gave Stephen Cox a hard time so I figured he’d have a field day with the new female commentator but that has not been the case so far from what I’ve seen. Still not a bad show overall.
