Modern, but it's the only car I have to race!

Some days it all comes together. I don’t yet have that 4-speed '67 to '70 Cougar to race, so I used my 6-speed 2012 V6 to win Open Comp class at Tasca Mustang Showdown yesterday at New England Dragway… Open Comp uses a .500 (not .400 like we use in Outlaw) pro tree but is handicap start based on your qualifying minus a tenth, not a dial you pick. Nice check written Carl Tasca himself, too!

Nice job!

Awesome! Never discount three holes per side! I’m not even gonna’ ask if you had fun. The smile in the picture says it all.

Good job R.B.!!!

It’s manual transmission car, as God and Henry Ford intended - and can be awfully consistent when needed. The two qualifiers were 13.331 and 13.335, respectively. I think any talent I have comes from all that Top Loader experience in my '71 Cyclone 1971-80.

that’s awesome. really consistent

Can’t get more consistent than 4/1000. 13.30’s are respectable for an 8 let alone a 6, so hats off to the driver and the car. Good job, and congrats.
