I’m planning to replace my exhaust (1968 dual exhaust 390 GT) with the OEM-style available at WCCC. Along with that, I’m planning to restore my muffler hangers. The original upper brackets are still bolted to the car but the rubber and lower brackets that attach to the mufflers are gone. Based on photos of the hangers, I’m wondering if I can reuse my upper brackets and attach the rubber and lower brackets from a single exhaust bracket. The lower brackets seem to be the same on all the hangers but I’m not sure.
RH is shorter and LF is longer. They’re available repo for Mustang which I believe is the same.

Not sure if the Mustang ones are the same. I used these and they worked well:

That looks like a better kit to use.
Thank you for all the responses. I’m not doing a concours or show car, but I am trying to use original Ford everywhere I can and get everything back to how it should be. My car is a “late build” 1968 dual exhaust, which is after 11/1/67 according to the WCCC website. So here are the upper brackets that are on the car now:
drivers side
passenger side
These are the correct late build upper exhaust hanger brackets from what I can tell comparing the pictures of complete dual exhaust brackets on WCCC:
drivers side
passenger side
What I’m asking is this: Can I use the rubber and lower bracket from this, a single exhaust hanger, to make a complete set of original and correct dual exhaust hangers? Seems like all I would need is a couple of rivets on each side to attach the rubber and lower bracket to the upper bracket. Thanks again.
I don’t see any reason why you can’t do that. I would give it a try.
