I’m sure Rob is a great guy and the cars are cool, but we’re supposed to be interested in what he considers six figure cars on pictures he took over his shoulder with a cell phone on Craigslist ? A couple of punctuation marks would really help the ads out too.

That Boss motor being backwards and the right hand drive appearance are really messing with my head.

A fair price if they were all complete and running, but…

Is this 470K Canadian dollars?

judging from the prices and half finished cars. He’s not moving right away.

Price is in Canadian money. I was discussing this set of cars with a buddy of mine yesterday. He had been up to look at a Mach 1 Rob had for sale. Apparently the GT-E had a lot of interesting Ford Performance parts that have been with it since day one and is documented as such.

$312,360 USD at current exchange rate

Sooo… doing the math, the cars individually only add up to $440k… >.> Guess the “package deal” adds a buyer’s premium?

No kidding. I’m not totally up on the market, but the prices are steep.

Asking and getting are two different things. I suppose he knows that and assumes that on Craigslist the typical low ball offer will be 10% of his asking price any way.

This guy is no dummy and he’s been involved with Cougars forever. For those of you familiar with the G-Force Cougar and the associated hood you may have seen on several Cougars over the last decade, Robin is the guy who created it.

He’s probably not too far off base, particularly since his GT-E is in a pretty rare color, Calypso Coral, and as Neal noted, equipped with a number of day-two performance modifications. Last time I saw the GT-E, which was probably in the late 90’s, it was a very nice car.

The biggest problem Robin has with this listing is the complete disregard for proper marketing of his very cool collection.

AKA the JB touch :pimp:

Something like that

Not from day one. I tried to buy the car from the original owner back in the 80s and not all that stuff was on it that is on it now.
By the way his name is Robin and some of the prices I noted were in US dollars.

Thanks Scott, Mike, my buddy said he had some paperwork that belongs to this one saying it came with it. But I did not see it.

It’s good to see a GT-E for sale. They are far and few between these days it seems.

He lists the green '69 CJ hardtop as US dollars, so I assume the other listings are $US too.

I agree! Start rolling them out guys, they are at their peak. Just like Shelbys.

( I agree! Start rolling them out guys, they are at their peak. Just like Shelbys.)

I’d be interested to know how you’ve determined that GT-Es are at their peak value. I’m not picking a fight, here, I’m interested in your perspective.

Just like AC Cobras peaked in 1995…

IT DOESN"T EVEN HAVE ROLL UP WINDOWS!!!

But I’d love to drive one…
