There is another Cougar in our den. My brother Dennis and I have purchased Jim Pinkerton’s XR7G Hertz. The deal was done as easily as I could have imagined. I contacted Jim and terms were discussed. I then called Dennis and we agreed to aquire Jim’s Cougar. After a few phone calls I had with Jim and Dennis the deal was complete. Jim lived up to his reputation of being a class act. Between the phone calls and emails everything I asked was clearly answered and things could not have gone better. When the G arrived it looked as good if not better than the pictures put together by Jeff in the eBay listing. So again Jeff, Great Job!
Here is the G being unloaded.
Here is Dennis and I with our Grandfathers Cougar. This 1967 standard that started our love for Classic Cougars.
More pictures to follow.

Jeff it’s funny that you say that about beautiful Cougars in the Pacific Northwest. I said as much to Jim when we spoke. I believe that per square mile you guys have some of the most beautiful Cougars. We were really excited to get this one.
Thanks for the kind words from everyone. I’m really glad to be part of this Community that Bill has created. There are many great guys and gals that share the Cougar passion. So Bill, here’s to you!

Congratulations to all three parties involved. Jim’s XR7-G looked to be an amazing car, and will certainly be the jewel of your collection. I’m glad it went to a good home where it will truly be enjoyed. I can’t wait to see what will be added to your collection next.
Cougars, You can’t just have one. You two have a great set of XR-7 Gs now, as well as the S code. I always liked this one. Now I’ll have to come down to South Carolina to see it.
The old gas station, plus a huge car collection, is on the property of a guy near me. Fordnutz did a mystery cruise on July 1st (we do one every year) and this was one of the stops.
