New headlight switch, but no headlights come on

I’m putting my dash back together, and have a new headlight switch. The instrument panel & turn signal wiring are both plugged in. Firewall fuses are fine. But the headlights, turn signals & brake lights are not functioning. The taillights come on & stay on, but nothing else works. Where do I even start to figure out what’s going on? Thanks

You need the schematic so you can use your multi meter to find out where power is interrupted. You can’t fix electrical problems by looking at them.

Does the free download from WCCC give that info? Sounds like it’s not a simple fix. I’d better get proficient with the multimeter. Thanks

It probably does have it. It is very important that you have the right year and the right version (XR7 STD). It may be easy but there is no way to tell with out testing.
