New here but been watching the forums and Cougar sales for awhile now. Soooo impressed with soooo many great Cougars and the enthusiasm here. I’m finishing up a Ranchero restomod, and will be looking for a 1970 Cougar to be my next project. If I can find a decent one for a decent price, I’ll pick it up now. I’ve been looking high and low here with no results…just one '70 only good for a parts car so far. Even emailed Don Rush asking about a certain '70 I once owned, or if he has anything for sale as a worthy project…hopefully hear from him soon.
My heart is set on a '70 as I owned one in high school, 351C with a 4speed…loved that car…and wanna do it again…I’ll try this link to photobucket so you can see some of the cars I’ve restored/restomoded, hopefully you’ll understand why I want a '70 Cougar to be next…

hopefully it works…
Welcome to CCCF, the link worked. Those are some nice looking cars (really liked the black Mustang). Good luck with the search. John
Andy, Welcome to CCC and by the way, I love the Black Mustang, that is drool territory for sure. What year is it and are those 17’s that you have on it?
Thanks, the '71 Mach 1 is my all time favorite…for now lol
It has 17x9.5 in rear and 17x8 in front
My 71 Mach 1 is the car that I grew up with as far as driving and wrenching to any great lengths. Built that engine to something wicked. Every once in a while I still come across someone who says “Hey I remember that green Mach1 you had!”
Anyway welcome to the board. Lot of good info here and also at this one: Mercury Cougar Owners
Many of us traverse both sites regularly.
