I thought I should introduce myself. My name is Chuck and I have a 1969 G code Eliminator that I’ve owned since 1982. I recently finished a long Mustang build and I’m turning my attention back to the Cougar that needs a few changes/improvements. I’ll be asking for information and your ideas in future posts. Chuck
Sharp lookin’ car! I like the lowered stance. Very aggessive.
What changes / improvements are you planning?
Have you plunked your info into the Eliminator Registry?

Welcome Chuck. She sure is a beauty. John
Welcome Chuck. Nice lookin’ car there.
Very cool car!
Greetings from Arkansas!
Chuck and I go back a ways, and since I know we all like pictures here, here’s another shot of Chuck’s car, with mine in the background:
Welcome to the madness Chuck Very nice looking ride thanks for posting the pics
Very nice … doesn’t look like it needs much.
I actually had your pic as a background on my laptop. Really cool ride. any newer pics?
Welcome, Chuck. I love the color and I love the stance. I wonder when I can officially nominate it for ROTM.
Thank you all for the very warm reception. I think I will like it here. The changes planned are not major. Mostly removing some of the remnants from it’s competition days and replacing parts with closer to original parts. I want tailpipes back on the car and this requires a factory style rear anti-sway bar (for a 70 Mustang I think, Addco PN 432 ???). I also want to put stock fuel lines back on and remove the 1/2" line and sending unit that is currently installed. The other improvements are an inside rearview mirror that will actually stay where you place it and new upholstery (currently has original). Again, thank you all for the nice welcome. Chuck
Chuck welcome to the Classic Cougar Community. It’s great to have another new member. I’m with everyone else here, beautiful car.
Steven
Welcome chuck!
Sweet ride!
Welcome aboard, Chuck! Good to see another Okie…where 'bouts?
Great to have you aboard Chuck, beautiful car, I passed up one like this that was an “R” code about 5 years ago at a flea market. It was a mustang booth that had it sitting aside and nobody wanted it, I could have had it for $5000, I have been kicking myself every since.
Welcome Chuck ! Great looking Boss Cat !
I live in Mustang Oklahoma. It is just west of OKC. GO THUNDER!!!
Awww damn. He found ya.
Welcome aboard Chuck!
Welcome Chuck.
Cat looks great. What do you have on it for wheel and tires.
Awesome game, eh? I know where Mustang is…my pops took delivery of the “first” Mustang in OK when they switched from the Fox body in '94 there in Mustang, OK…way cool. He drove it home, and gave the keys to my lil sister.
I used to work over in Bethany, not terribly far from Mustang, as well.
Hogs n Hotrods show in Collinsville is this Saturday, c’mon up…or, there’s the Shelby Meet in Tulsa next weekend.
Again, welcome aboard!
