New to the forum not new cars (67 build)

Hey guys! I have been working on my cougar for a while now and just havent uploaded pictures to the community. So i figured this time is as good as any. But looks like it will only let me upload one picture, neat. Anyway. Motor is a 4.6 from a 95 lincoln with a 96 cobra intake.

When we discovered rust in the rear window channel, at the time patch panels where not made, so this was the easy fix.

In my highschool shop after we put the two pieces together. Reason was we found the rear window rust after an entire TCI mustang ii kit was installed.

My self at middleschool age with the car after the TCI kit install.

Body shop i worked at where i did all the paint and body work.

Blown apart for paint on the sketchiest rotisserie.

After paint and getting it back on the ground.

The IRS in the car from a lincoln mark viii

Getting glass in and all bright work was powdercoated black.

Interesting choice on the 4.6, any particular reason for choosing that over a more common swap like a coyote? you dont see to many triton modular motor swaps these days.

Keep up the good work! I love seeing custom stuff like this! Interested in hearing feedback on that rear IFS swap too once its completed

So the build started about 14 years ago before coyotes where super popular, so a smoking deal for the motor, trans, and rear end was found so we just went with that route. Ron Francis did the body and engine harness. So figured if i have everything no reason to change it.

For gauges i went with Marshall out of Anaheim Ca, american made set to boot for under 800. An extensive amount of dash modification, but im happy with it.

The xr7 dash looks so much better with aftermarket gauges in them…however I am biased!

what seats are those? Ive only known that pattern to be in the ford 150 raptors?

Your right on the money, i wanted a more comfortable seat and got a decent set of raptor seats. I may stick with it, but still have yet to decide. But what ill probably do is have them and the rear seat upholstered to match.

A couple interior shots, steering wheel forever sharp and door panels by mp products.

Very nice work…so extensive. I can imagine how you’ve ‘grown up’ with this car and are making it yours, modernizing.
