Norcal resto and mod shop?

I purchased my Nordic Blue 1967 XR7 GT from a relative in 1978 when I was 19 years old. I drove it for a few years and parked it. At the time I was young and uniformed about the care of a classic car although I was smart enough to keep it. Unfortunately it’s been sitting outside (covered) for many years. It has about 60k miles. Now that I’m retired and have a real budget I would like to restore and mod it to my taste. I have been out of touch with local resources for sometime now and wanted to query the knowledgeable about any local shops I should investigate. It’ll need some metal work. I’ve sourced FE Specialists in Auburn as a possible engine builder. Thanks in advance for your assistance. Randy

If cost is important you will save a ton of money getting it done out of northern California. Scott Taylor in Phoenix would be a good possibility. YOu would probably save the shipping cost in the first two weeks of work.

Sweet car. My second favorite color for a Cougar.

I sent you a PM.

If you know your coming up to the Tahoe area . Give me some advance notice

It’s funny that the primed and patched paint ones look as cool as painted ones, It must be the memories.

The older they get, the better they were…
