Here is a “slightly” modified Cougar that was done right. I think the license plate does all the explaining of the work put into the car.
I found the pics originally on 1320video.com and got the photographers permission to post them.

I just noticed the headlight doors sagging. Don, this man needs the longer adjusting bolts!!!

Yeah, to make a car legal to run 9 seconds on the track, and keep it looking that original, minus the battery qd’s, fuel pump shut off, and monster rear tires shows a great deal of respect for what the car is. I’d like to see the interior to see how the cage was incorporated into it.

After putting a scoop back on, I like everything except the painted bumpers.

I can’t stop staring…especially at the bumpers…I don’t know if I like 'em or not. If they were Carbon Fiber or Fiberglass, now that’d just be the ticket :wink:
