Not mine - '68 R code XR-7 on FB for sale

The original color was Fawn. Not sure root beer brown was an improvement.

oooo. A pop-up sunroof.

Eww, a window in the roof.

Home office reserve car, and one of the very highest VIN numbers for 1968 Dearborn.

Is there a Marti Report you can post Royce?

Nice, it looks like it has Baby Toronado mirrors. How very 1979. LOL

That link seems to be broken

Works fine when I click on it. Scott I have nothing other than the photos on the link and the description. It’s a late date for sure.

You have to be a member of the “67 68 Mercury Cougars” facebook group to view it.

I believe this car is in the mid west. FB link isnt working.

The car is in Minnesota. If anyone is interested I can send a message on the facebook group and try to get you in touch with the seller. I don’t know the seller or the car.

I have the appraisal and lots of pics. I encouraged them to purchase a Marti. Car has some serious rust from one end to the other. Asking price is not too far off?

I was interested in it until I saw the pictures with rust and aftermarket sunroof… probably a good price but needs too much work for my liking… definitely like that Fawn color.

What is the asking price for those of us that can’t view the link?

$35K

Just on a note of interest.I have pretty much identical car.591080,same body 65B,6,6F,25U,34,8,U

The original link works fine but only if you are a member of the private group. IMHO not a great sales strategy.

This link may work better:

That link also has ‘issues’ - too bad, would be interesting to get more views on this car. This is what I get when I tried the link :

You might want to join the group 1967 - 1968 Cougars.

“To borrow a phrase from my stance on social media, I don’t follow.”

-Wayne on Letterkenny.

Doesnt that seem a bit steep for a car of this quality? Rusty with repaint, looks like several modifications and aftermarket parts installed. Not to mention the aftermarket hole in the roof? Not nit picking just generally curious if prices have climbed to that level.

It seemed kind of high to me, but what do I know?

I put this in the category of Sesame Street Car because it has been brought to you by the letter “R”.
