I am looking for OEM Ford fuel sender cores for rebuild and also for parts. They are worth a minimum of $20. I need a picture of the sender with the date and your name. Way too many scammers. Let’s get those parked parts back in circulation. Send me a private message if you would rather text me the picture.
I have a few. I’ll get them packaged up and sent out soon.
Do you still have my address?
I should, If I can’t find it I’ll send you a message.
I have my old one I can send you.
Jim
Silly question perhaps, but is there a way to test the sender in the car? My low fuel light has never worked, but after finishing the engine rebuild and the car sitting for about a year, my gauge isn’t registering properly. The needle moves a tiny bit when I start up and I know the tank is full, so I am suspicious that the sender has finally died.
I have your gauge tester, and I can pull apart the dash, but I am hoping I don’t have to.
Unplug the wires to the sender at the tank and clip your gauge tester to the contacts to verify the gauge works properly. It probably will, and that will prove that your sender is the problem.
Exactly correct!
And in retrospect, obvious. Poles on the back of the gauge or the ends of the lines…same. I knew it was going to be a silly question!
Just got these from Desert Classics. Couldn’t be happier. Would like to get it in Greeny BEFORE Carlisle. But… Always later.
Just got my sending unit back ALREADY!!! Already installed!!! FANTASTIC
