OEM Radio Restore

Any recommendation on who to use to restore original AM radio. Lots of sites, not sure who to use, thanks larry

Although his site makes him come off as a Mopar radio specialist (he is), Greg Ward in Huntsville AL works on 'em all and I was very happy with his work and his way of business. No more expensive than others, either. In my case, it was an original '68 Ford AM-FM that had a cheesy conversion that had failed. Greg returned it to stock and tossed the Chinese conversion board crammed into it.

Ward’s Classic Car Radio Repair is the actual business name; it will appear at the top of any search.

Good question, I’d like to have my AM radio serviced as well. No sound out of it. Will keep an eye on recommendations here.

I used Retro Radio in PA. I met Mike and his wife at Ford Carlisle years ago. Nice people, good work.

This is who I used. Two AmFm radios converted. Cosmetics restored. Quite happy

Here is his information. He just did my AM/FM out of my 67 GT for $140.00 I haven’t had a chance to play it yet. Just got it back last week. His turn around time was three weeks. Best to call him. He doesn’t keep his website up to date.
