Nice car, sell the rims and tires and you have enough to replace them and pay for the registration.
To me those wheels are just barely different from the 17’s I see on lotsa Cougars. 
When I saw this one on my saved search on eBay I laughed a little. The one that’s up right now that I have a hard time telling myself I shouldn’t be buying is the beat-up red 67. The color on that one is awesome, and the wheels are a huge lure for me. If it was a manual trans I’d probably have to stop looking at eBay for a while until it went away.
EXACTLY! Unless there are some chassis mods to create the lift, with a simple wheel and tire change… that would be a SUPER NICE car.
Yeah, on second thought, it’s actually pretty nice once (and if) you can get past the cartoon-like wheels. A testament to the power of first impressions.

Nice, clean original car… If they would reduce the price $5k and keep the $5k wheels it would probably sell.
