Ops! Time to update your browser!

If you are seeing this:

It is time to update your browser. Chances are you are using Windows 7 (guilty!) which has been obsolete for a long time so it was inevitable that this was going to catch up with us eventually. The good news is that you can get Supermium browser that is backwards compatible with Windows 7 and also compatible with most current internet content.

I just reluctantly upgraded!!!

Using the Brave browser. It’s better than anything else.

Wow! I thought I was a holdout! I finally gave up my Windows 7 for Windows 11; I just couldn’t handle disintegration. I’m quite sure they’ll NEVER change it again…..

Windows?!? Linux, Baby!

Unfortunately the Brave Browser is not backwards compatible with Windows 7. It is possible that you can run and older version of Brave on Windows 7 and it is also technically possible to find and then install an old version of Brave but it is not supported so it will try to get you to update. Backwards compatibility is the key feature of Supermium.

My computer is about 1 year old so I think it had Windows 11 before I started using the Brave browser so backwards compatible isn’t an issue for me.

Also guilty (on one pc). Would still be running NT Server if I could…

Software bloat leads to hardware obsolescence. Else we spend too little

Similar sentiments with Windows XP; they could have stopped right there for me.

I guess it’s probably time to retire the ole windows 3.1! :winking_face_with_tongue:

If you have a Windows product from before 1990 - yes it is.
