I was curious about my '69 XR7’s value, so I entered the MSRP from my Marti report into
the online Inflation Tool got this:
Sale date Dec 1968: $4,318.80
Sale date Sept 2023: $38,199.05
Damn!

My 70 XR-7 was sold in November 1969, the window sticker shows MSRP of $4731.40, needs to be rounded u or down for the Calculator to work, I went down, and it is adjusted today’s value at $39,676.24. Quite the value one got in a car for back then.
Yeah, if you factor in inflation, our cars are now worth almost what we have in them - lol!
Window sticker on my '68 was $3515.41. So today would be $31,097.89. Like Calicat said, ALMOST how much I put into it to restore it. I have the original sticker price in the front grill assembly alone!
Wow you guys keep track?
I have a spreadsheet with qty, part number, description, price, and link to website for what i have paid. WCCC keeps track of what you have spent with them.
I don’t want to know
