Will the overhead console for a 67 Mustang fit the roof line of a 67 Cougar?

I picked up one of these a while back at a steal of a price:

Since I already have the lights in my dash that an XR7 console has in it, I wanted this for the overhead map lights, and just for the cool factor. I think the brushed aluminum of it mirroring the center console running down the trans hump will look sharp.

I figure I can get the brackets in place to hold it when I am redoing the head liner, but if the curve of it doesn’t match the curve of the Cougar roof, then I will look for other options.

Joe Gallagher has already done this with his 67. He has this link in his signature. Very neat idea.
