Just received my new York AC Compressor from Classic Auto Air. Wondering if anyone has painted these aluminum beauties to look factory black before install and what brand of paint did you use?
I’m surprised. I purchased from them for my 69 and it came black. Beautiful and works great.

Scott, I’ve never had a problem painting them with single stage automotive paint or rattle can. Just pick a good semi gloss.
