Panel access for tilt wiring 69 Mustang

Need to place wiring harness for 69 Mustang tilt away steering system.
What is the BEST way to access inside the drivere kick panel area to thread/place this harness to both the tilt switch and the courtesy lamp switch.
Limited space exists.

I just did this on a '69 XR-7. I had the dash out and the kick panel out. It is doable - just. There is no easy answer I am afraid.

So you removed only the the dash pad and gauge panel?

The dash panel, gauge panel, and kick panel. I started to remove the emergency brake pedal too but could see no gain in access so I stopped. It is a bitch of a job.

Now what do the two wires coming off the tilt cable canister connect to?

The tilt cannister has two red wires in a dual prong connector that connect to the same style connector on the wiring harness.
