Hey all,
It’s been a while since I said I would post some pics of the '79 T-Bird Dad gave to Deb. Sorry, been swamped at work. Anyhow here’s a few photos.

Look’s like it’s in great shape! What engine? I had a Diamond Jubilee years ago. What a quiet and comfortable car. Good luck!

I like it. That’s classic 70’s right there.

Thanks guys. It has the 351M. Wish it had the 400. Had a 400 in my first car and can tell you that this tank needs as much torque as possible. You should have seen the look on Deb’s face when we went to visit Dad, and as soon as we pulled up he threw her the keys. What surprised me was how good on gas this thing is on the freeway. Filled up In Terre Haute and stopped in Mont Eagle Tn to fill it back up and quite honestly thought the gas gauge was broke. Put 8 gallons in and drove the rest of the way back to Conyers Ga with a half tank to spare. Did the math and found I was getting 23 mpg at 75-80 mph. That’s almost as good as my '07 Marquis and it has an overdrive, smpi, and 70 less cubes.
This spring I plan on some cosmetic stuff as the paint, although in great shape for being so old is starting to need some help. But considering the car spent its entire life in Illinois, can’t find any rust anywhere on this car.
