Not sure what you have done or want to do.
In general you don’t delete posts on a forum. If you sell something you just add a post that says sold.
The forum is scanned and indexed by search engines like google. Then when people search for information the forum gets discovered by new potential users. When people delete things it creates broken links. Those broken links are a big negative to the search engines. In some cases even editing is a problem. It looks to the search engine like bait and switch.
I know that people are unaware of all this and don’t mean to cause harm. I need to see what I can do on the settings for the site to keep this from happening.
