The renderings almost always look better! 
For me the red is an example of not understanding the heritage so much.
Love Ross Myer’s BME Cougar, but it is painted the wrong color red. The BME Cougars were the factory Cardinal Red, which is a darker and to me more “luxurious” red.
But when a TA Cougar toy is done, or if someone does a Cougar build they reference the Myer’s Cougar and that bright tomato red.
I think the Shelby Super Snake Mustang reference is miss-placed. Very, very cool car but there are plenty of very cool historic Cougars to draw inspiration from.
BUT - these are just opinions. Over all I really dig it. Love the grill and love the body mods. The '67 is such a nice, clean and uncluttered body style.
