It looks like changes have been made to Photobucket. The old instructions are out the window I think. Could someone give new instructions or can we just load pictures direct now?

Works for me…I have the newest Photobucket version going…
Get to “albums” and if you click on a pic, use the “share” feature, hit the link code and it copies it immediately. Then go to the board here and post, use “Shift Instert” and the Link code comes up… Viola
I have not been on photobucket for a good while but I am looking at it now, no albums tab, home, library,connect,browse,edit,upload across the top banner.
It sounds like you need to log in…is there nothing of the kind if you hit “refresh” or look it up via Googl with your username? I have to admit I’m stumped…
The menu’s are slightly different, kind of a PITA this new version, IMO. But, still works for me, too.
It did offer go back to old Photobucket and walla there it is! The next break I get I will try again. Thanks guys, but it is changing and we will have to figure out the “new” way of uploading as I am sure the go back option is short-lived.
Dammit, I hate change, especially when I only half assed knew what I was doing anyhow!!!
I tried the new version as well but quickly got annoyed with it, forget the exact problem, probably something with the new menu structure as Bruce mentioned.
Went back to the old version and happiness returned. I’m well on my way to becoming my parents: “You young kids with your new photobucket version!”. “When I was a kid, we didn’t have photobucket, we had bloody stumps!”. “And we liked it!”.
I was all crossed up all ready and just quit for now.
Nothing shows up or works for me like the directions in posting pictures. Nothing highlights, no paste option, too much for a Monday.
Really it’s Monday, only worse!!!
The great thing is tommorows THURSDAY!!! 
I liked the old format much better than the new one. On the new one, if you didn’t know what you were doing after loading a new picture, I would disappear and who knows where the thing ended up. After loading a few pictures thought and being enlightened by oldwood, I put it back to the old format. No big deal, but the pictures that I loaded up in the new format, were all gone. Im happier with the old one, more organized I think and easier to use.
I switched to image shack, works good.
It really is very easy. You just place the link between a pair of “img” tags. Click on the “Img” square when you are making a posting and place the link between the tags that appear in your post.
Or, in the case of photobucket, just click the IMG click box in the pulldown for the picture and it copies the link and the tags for you, then you just right click paste in the post.
Photobucket changed their format a couple of months back. I switched back to the old version within fifteen minutes. When I made the change back to the old version I got a pop-up window asking why, I typed the old version was much easier to use. I guess it’s knid of like…what was that failure…oh I remember!

I ended up getting to work on the new format as the hold would not come up right. Paste would never highlight and no function.

I was a little excited, (getting it to work) and (the old) I’m sure you knew what I meant. lol
I hope I explain this right because the new is easy. If you hover over the picture you want a wheel thinger comes up in the top right corner. Click on that and then the screen comes up and just click on the bottom line and it will come up saved, go back to CCC and click in between the two img img and paste. Wal la. Only thing was it did not work every time but i’ll bet it was me. Now I am on my lap top so I cant look back to double check. Anyhow its not bad.

I don’t know what happened to my avatar, I showed up one day and it was the red X , so I went to change it and it stayed the red X even with the new gif. I figured someone was trying to tell me something.
