Power steering control valve plug

Does anyone know where I could get a power steering control valve plug? When I removed my power steering control valve there was not one present that I remember and not one in my rebuild kit. I am assuming it needed but looked all over the internet without luck. It looks plastic in nature, does any one have the specs of it, maybe I can fabricate one. Thanks for any help.

Not sure what your talking about. Any additional info?

Thanks for the response Cougar Bill. I was watching a video on how to rebuild a power steering control valve plug and the instructor talks about placement of a “plug”. (See below). Mine did not have one. I have seen it on certain diagrams and not on other diagrams. Did not know if anyone knew about this part? Did they redo the power steering valve sleeve at some point and eliminate this part. When I disassembled mine it was not there and no one has ever taken the valve apart to my knowledge. Any help would be appreciated.

Interesting. Ive never seen anything like that. Pic show a slightly different clamp too.

You are correct. I am thinking maybe they made changes to the inner sleeve and no longer need the plug. Is that possible?

Ya, not sure what it did/does?

F/u to this control valve plug. I reached out to WCCC and they were not to sure about this “plug.” However I spoke with a great guy there that got me in contact with a gentlemen who built, rebuilt, control valve guru, etc. I called him that night and he was awesome, knew exactly what I was talking about, the entire control valve, all the parts, etc. He said the plug is present before 68 but after the sleeve was redesigned and the plug was no longer needed. Just an FYI
