I restored a 1970 Mercury Cougar XR7. It originally had the 351 Cleveland but I put in a 302. Everything is going well except I do not know which power steering hoses to get. I have the original power steering pump and tank, and the original gear box. I also have the steering ram and hoses. I need the pressure hose and return hose that goes from the pump and tank.

Don’t even try the auto parts stores - been there done that.

Both of these hoses run only from the pump to the rubber isolation block under the car. There are two additional hoses that run from the isolation block to the power steering control valve, and two more short ones that run from control valve to the ram cylinder.
