Nice car, nice color. But if the car wasn’t being driven, why was a “Mercury Tech” maintaining it and exactly what parts needed “updating with original parts”? (Note the oxymoron)
I think it was well bought. Hell with the ad, I wish I had the spare change right now. You just do not see many cars that milage, that condition and pretty to boot. As far as most documented, I doubt it. I may have that one. My 69 was owned by a doctor who could not drive and did not know squat about cars. I have one receipt where he brought it to the shop complaining it didnt drive right. The rear drivers side tire was low on air. He was anal to the max. I have every receipt from everything he ever had done to the car for twenty five years.

I think that this Cougar is well worth the money. Yes the ad was funny, but over all it was well covered. It had good pictures of the car and the documents. So congrats to whom ever got this beauty.
