Proportioning Valve Bleeder Tool

Hey guys,

Im wondering if anyone knows if these proportioning valve bleeder tools (holds the plunger in place while bleeding to avoid tripping the warning light) will fit the 1968 ford/mercury distribution block? I’m having a really hard time finding one other than the tools that are listed for PV2 and PV4 blocks which I think are GM parts. Im hoping to find one in Canada to avoid taking the hit on exchange rate and shipping.

Below is a link to an example of a bleeder tool that im talking about.

Thanks in advance

Here’s what I have used many, many times…

It screws into the brake distribution block to keep the differential pressure cylinder from moving. Has absolutely nothing to do with the proportioning valve.

WCCC has them in stock or you can make one from an old bolt with a hole drilled in the center to accept a 1/8" diameter roll pin.
