Can someone help with some actual photos from their car? I do not like the way these PS hoses are routed… there’s a metal bracket that looks like they should go through… but they are still very close to the manifold there… i don’t see where they would be routed that arent within an inch or two of a hot manifold… one of my hoses came with a plastic wire loom style protector on it, i assume to prevent chafing against metal components, but its already warping and showing signs of melting and the farthest the car has been driven is about 2 miles at any one time. I am not excited to have that hose melt and spray fluid all over a hot manifold for obvious reasons.

Had similar hose routing issues on my 68 small block XR7 and solved it by converting to “big block” hose routing kit that has PS hoses run below manifolds. Believe I got kit from WCCC.
