Hey guys,

I’ve had my XR7 for 18 years and have never replaced the PS pump. It’s starting to whine a bit when shes ice cold and usually when its a hard right or left getting her out of the garage. I know how things start to give us a warning sign and I’m wondering if flushing the fluid could solve this, or should I roll the dice and go with a rebuild from Autozone? Any thoughts?

You may have checked, but be sure you have enough Type A trany. fluid in the reservoir before replacing the unit.
