Hi All,
I am a new owner of a 1973 Cougar XR7 convertible (new to cougars all together) and I need to locate two decent quarter panels so my question is does the 71 & 72 panels fit ? I am quickly finding out that some parts on the 73 are only for that year!
Also if anyone has a pair for sale message me
71-73 quarter panels are all the same. There is a difference though between the convertible and the hardtop quarters. You could probably make use of hardtop quarters as long as you are willing to make the splice near teh top body line. If you want to put them on as full quarters then you must find ones off another convertible. One a side note but related the quarter panel extension is different between a convertible and a hardtop so be sure to reuse your original extensions.

what state are you in? I have a super clean 1973 shell / tub from CA that is CLEAN! $2700. Very hard to find with rust free cowl and trunk floor.
