I’ve been having problems with my 1969 with a 351W running a little hot. When I stop radiator fluid leaks out the over flow vent. I have already changed the thermostat.
The people that can answer your questions are going to want some info like;
How much water do you put in?
Is it stock radiator?
What temp thermostat did you install?
When did start happening?
Fill to the top.

Should not be filled to the top without an aftermarket over flow tank. You will lose fluid due to heat expansion. Typically, fill just above the water tubes of the radiator core.

Agree with Scott this is the typical way Ford operate during the 69’s if you fill the top tank up fully. There is no were for the expanded mix to go. Let it burp, should not be much to anything after the first couple of good cycles of getting everything to operating temp. If it bugs you and your not restoring the car get a catch can/over flow and install it. Aftermarket sold millions of them in the 70’s just so owners would not worry or have a little dribble under the car.
Check that the radiator cap is holding the proper pressure.
