Anyone have a good picture of the hood to radiator seal? I would like to see how forward or back it sits on the rad support and where the staples are placed.
What year and plant was the Cougar built?
On 60’s versions The seal was secured by the fold/bend on the back side bottom surface and typically all the way forward and fully seated. Staples and different clips were used to secure them to the radiator support depending on when the car was built and where

Felix, Look at the VIN, It starts with the number 8 for model year, the net letter will be a F or a R, F is for Dearborn built, R is for San Jose built.
