Hey… at least they’re making progress… :poke:

Ouch…that’s gonna leave a Mark…

I totally agree with Cougrrcj. If people want to butcher there cars it’s there business, but to take a very rare car and do that to it(in my opinion) should have there heads examined. Those types of cars when I see them at shows I just keep on walking, usually laughing or shaking my head in disgust.
Here’s a futuristic idea, instead of wheels going bigger by 4-6 inches and rubber band width side walls and slamming the car down, why don’t they just go 4-6 smaller then what usually came on there cars, 20"sidewalls and raise the hell out of them. Same difference only opposite, now wouldn’t that just look yummy?

I’ve always had a thing for these formal roof Torinos.

Cool, same color my 68 formalroof GT before I painted it arrest me red.

Oh man, that looks awesome! Augusta/Highland Green looks great with a black vinyl top. It’s my second favorite to Vintage Burgundy also with a black vinyl top. I like the formal roof too.

Vulcan bomber.
Fantastic piece of engineering.

An interesting collection of Swedish metal.

The red arrows.

OMG, you changed the COLOR??? Is there a shrink in the house??? :poke:

To each their own, says I. I may not always like what someone does to a car, but, I can always appreciate the time and effort. :beerchug:

I don’t like everything about this one, but the rust flames are pretty cool.

I’ve met that car in person, it goes to Power Big Meet in Sweden every year.
It belongs to the same person who owns the truck and rat rods in the picture I posted.

they use the Merc to go around with the cruising.
Dunno what’s under the hood, couldn’t understand what the guy said, but it’s got a pretty sophisticated air suspension system

If any of you guys ever get the chance you should come over to Power Meet.

Upwards of 20,000 cars in the showfield alone plus tens of thousands of cars around the town.

Not to mention burnouts, alcohol.

Oh, and LOVELY Swedish ladies.
I do have pictures of the lovely ladies, but that’s another thread !! :bandit:

Norway and Sweden are on the top of my “places to visit” list, but it was the wife’s turn so we’re going to Italy.

My buddy just picked up one of these. It’s a complete car too and he is starting restoring it. It’s a super classy car. Power drum brakes and power steering ac and heat top of the line luxury car from 55. Hemi super red ram engine. If you see one in person there is just so much detail you have to appreciate the car. The way the doors shut is pretty cool. Theres a trim peice that folds over the top of the windows to seal them from water.

Fantastic piece of engineering.

I had the privilege of seeing a Vulcan bomber fly towards our position, open the bomb bay doors, flip upwards in a vertical position, almost at a standstill, and push the engines to move straight up. Old army days around 1976.

That was an awsome sight! Those Rolls Royce engines really shook the neighborhood.

Yes the Avro Vulcan is very cool. I think there is only one left flying.
