Since things seem a bit slow at the moment, I’m proposing a thread for those interesting pictures you may have, or find on the 'net, of vehicles that are not Cougars. By vehicles, I mean pretty much anything mechanical that moves under its own power, or is propelled by water, wind, etc. Comments are welcome, but the main point is to have a place for those cool pictures of cars, planes, ships, motorcycles and so forth that don’t fit anywhere else. Otherwise no real rules other than keeping the content family-friendly. Anyway, I’ll start:
A harbor pilot boat from Tampa Bay. It’s about 45 ft long and has twin 12" exhausts hinting at the power under the deck. Idle speed on it is about 10 knots. They come running up to and leave ships they escort at about 40 MPH.

Came across this gorgeous 72-ish Ford in traffic one day and had to take a picture. He has some beefy tires under the rear and the exhaust note to back up needing them.

Westland Whirlwind - based on the Comet racer. If they had used Merlins rather than Peregrines nothing would have touched it
Absolutely bonkers, but amazing to look at:
LOVE that machine (but the shift knob is a little much!).
(but the shift knob is a little much!).
Dress up like the headless horseman and go driving around…
And I’m also a big fan of almost any make and model if it’s done right. This particular Big Boat Olds nailed the stance, the wheel and tire combo and the paint. But most of all I thought the photo was fantastic.
My old BSA that I wish I never sold.
My buddies SCCA toy.
And another buddies top fuel Harley, with my wife as the pilot. Owner and pilot of the bike on the left, one of the crew on the right.
I know, not very random, but they are the types of vehicles that excite me.
Saw this in-progress Torino “Talladega” in the Rad Rides by Troy booth at the Detroit Auto-Rama about 3 weeks ago. The metalwork is second to none.
I even got to touch it.
Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione
Sorry Mark, but I can’t stand either of those rides… I detest the trendy fad of a car lowered to the weeds, supersize wheels and ‘rim-guard’ tires…
Otherwise, both creations are works of art…
OK, my first bike…
