I agree with the unread posts feature, works well (when you know about it). So I learned something there. Unfortunately, I still have not learned completely to ignore trolls. Still learning to do.
Regarding “Really?” Yes, really.
“A troll is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people, by posting inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.”
I just saw this one, in going back to see how things got all blown up, and think I can explain a bit…if, perhaps, you are referring to Bob’s “Internet Rule #6”, that happens to be a dig at ME, since, for quite a while, I held the top spot here, and am still up there. Yet, I’m ALWAYS hounding him for electrical help…or help in general, for that matter. Now, should you think it applies to you, then by all means, take it as you will, but not everything is aimed at you. It’s been an ongoing joke Curbside, and even here on CCCF about my post count. I’d have to do some digging, but Al Bundy gave me a hard time about it for quite a while, as did Steven(who leads the post count now…).
We must have reached functional perfection if this is the direction of the thread. I can guarantee that Jay has not the slightest idea about what this discussion entails. Can we be merciful and not make him read all of this stuff?
