Rear end height with new leaf springs

In the diagram it looks like it looks like it is, but in real life it may not be. Giving a indicator of bad springs

Bill -
What is the free height of the springs you received?
The 1970 Spring Research Institute catalog shows 7 3/4".
The “pack” thickness of 1-3/16" indicates these are typical .300" 1969-70 thick leaf springs. Calculated spring rate is 110 lb/in. GT springs should be .320", pack thickness ~ 1-1/4", calculated spring rate 133 lb/in.

Heres the site info

Vic-
GS 66-311 are the springs I ordered a year and a half ago. Still off the 68 so just message if you’re looking for any measurements (as built)
Cheers,
Matt

Thanks for the offer, perhaps you could verify the information below.

I found the free spring arch height listed at 7 3/4".
It was located in the 1970 Spring Institute Leaf Spring specs, Volume 18.
That is 1" taller that what I would like to use, a 1968 GT is 6 3/4",
from the 1969 Spring Institute Leaf Spring specs, Volume 17
