Rear Turn signal problems

I bought a 69 cat a few months ago and the turn signals did not work at all so I replaced the trunk unit with a new solid state one. they worked for a while but just the other day my girlfriend was following behind me and to me that my turn signal wasn’t working so I pulled over and noticed that they were solid and not blinking. so I flip the turn signal again and they began to blink all three at once solid. then they also began to blink in sequence starting off normal and they began to go very fast before blinking all at once again. :wall: any ideas what could be wrong???

Mackish,

Check your charging system to make sure that there is at least 14.3 volts with the engine running measured at the battery. Also, make sure all of your grounds are clean and tight. If the charging system is not charging, then it will definitely causing the sequencer to not work properly.

Will do thanks

Check bulb bases for dimples and make sure the bulb sockets are tight in the reflector.
