Hi Guys,
have any of you had first hand experience with these engine mounting kits.
I have clearance issues with my after market, under hood insulator, rubbing on the original air cleaner on my 69 351w convertible.
Someone suggested these kits that will lower the engine 1/2” so i emailed Ron Morris and he gave the # of the kit to order off CJ,s which i duly did .
Apart from the fact they are horrendously expensive, i should have done a little more research on them as subsequently i have read mixed reviews on them.
So my question is, do they fit, ie a simple bolt on as suggested, will they lower the engine 1/2” , will i have clearance on the sump ?
Will there be clearance on the fan shroud,?
are they the same part side to side given the convertibles have engine mount issues to begin with, all tho i think mine has the replacement pedestals ( these will make that irrelevant yes ?)
I would love to hear from some one with first hand experience if possible .?
