Whats the tape, sealer, or what ever it is that goes under the stainless steel strip that goes on the roof line that hold the weather strip?
Gray colored self adhesive closed cell foam tape. 1/8" x 7/8" wide. Ford used to sell this product, with a C6AZ-19627-A p/n.
More likely a generic product ( and less expensive ) is available at any body shop. Used for shimming, to stop rattles and silence wind whistles where door / window frames contact the A pillar. Don’t use it on the surface of the the window rubber itself, as the glass edge ( esp. 1969 -1970 with ‘floating’ glass’ ) will cause a binding, and end up rolling the foam tape out of shape and position.
thanks
This is the stuff I used. Worked great

This is what we use.
question #2 does anybody make a bolt, nut and screw package. for these?
A lot of the fasteners are available new. If you’re just talking about the roof weatherstrip channels, those attach with these type of trim screws.
