Sanden conversion

I have installed the Sanden compressor in place of the York in both factory A/C equipped cars.

Does anyone sell just the hoses for the conversion?

You can try here. https://www.classicautoair.com/

Classic Auto Air

Original Air makes a kit that includes a Sanden style compressor with other OEM parts. They sell the hoses as parts. I’ve been running their system for about 5 years without any problems.

Original Air and Classic Auto Air are the same outfit, so either one!

If you can find a buddy that has the crimp tool or a shop that will loan one, they’re actually easy to make yourself.

I made up my own hoses during mock-up then took them to a local radiator shop that also services AC. They crimped about a dozen or so fittings for me for something like $30 in 2002 dollars.

Silly me… I had looked up Original/Classic Auto Air website and didn’t find anything there and I just assumed they didn’t carry it. Well, you know what they say about ass-uming. I called and now sets for both cars are being sent. Thanks to all for the nudge back to Original Air.

Cheers

Glad it worked out for you
